IDENTITAS KEAGAMAAN YANG INKLUSIF DALAM KONTEKS RUANG DIGITAL UNTUK MEMBANGUN PERDAMAIAN

Abstract
Abstract: Religious fanaticism and intolerance have increasingly proliferated in the digital space. The rise of individualism, where people often prioritize personal interests over collective well-being, contributes to the growing polarization and separation. The research aims to dig deeper into religious phenomena in the digital space and understand the discourse of scholars' perspectives to build a spirit of inclusivity and interfaith peace. This research uses the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) method, which descriptively examines the necessary texts and documents and criticizes them. The theoretical analysis departs from the views of Amartya Sen and F. Budi Hardiman. The results show that Sen emphasizes the importance of not only affiliating with a singular identity but realizing and appreciating the multiplicity of identities. Hardiman elaborates on the importance of ethical moral principles in digital space to prevent religious fanaticism. Both Sen and Hardiman emphasize the importance of inclusivity in fostering interfaith peace solidarity in the public sphere through respecting the difference of perspectives and identities of others.
Abstrak: Fanatisme dan intoleransi beragama telah dan sedang menjamur di ruang digital dewasa ini. Setiap orang hidup secara individualis dan mengabaikan kebaikan bersama, sehingga seringkali menciptakan polarisasi hingga perpecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam fenomena keagamaan dalam ruang digital, dan memahami diskursus pandangan para ahli dalam rangka membangun semangat inklusivitas dan perdamaian antaragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), yaitu meneliti secara deskriptif teks dan dokumen yang diperlukan dan mengkritisinya. Analisis teori berangkat dari pandangan Amartya Sen dan F. Budi Hardiman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sen menekankan pentingnya tidak hanya berafilisasi pada identitas tunggal, tetapi menyadari dan menghargai keragaman identitas. Hardiman mengelaborasi pentingnya prinsip moral etis dalam ruang digital untuk mencegah fanatisme beragama. Baik Sen dan Hardiman sama-sama memberi penekanan pada pentingnya semangat inklusivitas untuk membangun solidaritas perdamaian antaragama dalam ruang publik melalui penghargaan terhadap perbedaan perspektif dan identitas orang lain.
